Car Lift for Griffith

Later this year I would like to replace all my shocks and refurbish the suspension.

I have built a caterham, however being so light I built wooden trestles for it to sit on -

I was looking at a mobile scissor lift/tilting(1500kg)has any one tried this solution

Do you have the clearance in terms of hight for a two post car lift? It would give you far more access to the car e.g. suspension, exhaust, chassis etc. They are on ebay for £1,100 or you could wait for a second hand one to come up. There is currently a used 3.5 ton lift at £350 no reserve.

If you've got that sort of space you're a very lucky man. I would go the whole nine yards

I only have 8ft height (plenty of width) and whilst the concrete base was laid by me, I only have 12 inches of concrete base and not sure if this is deep enough for a two post ramp -

I agree it would be perfect to have a two post ramp

there was a company offering a low (isn) 2 post ramp for about 1100 on ebay, it needed 6 inches concrete base.....

still too tall for me though...
