how do I paste a link??

I am trying to paste a link of a web page (an advert) into one of the forums so people can click on it and hey presto ........but I am not having any luck at all.

Can anyone give me some idiot proof instructions?

Unless it's quirky, you should just be able to past the link in and the system will convert it for you.

Try it and if it doesn't work then I'll have a look at it.
