911 997 Sat Nav (PCM2 v3.3)

Hi
I'm new to the forum and I'm picking up my first ever 911 on Friday! I'm driving around Europe in a few weeks time and I need to try and get the sat nav updated. It's a 2006 997 and I think its PCM 2 v3.3. The DVD is dated April 2005. How and where can I get this updated and do I need to update the PCM first?
Any help would be much appreciated.

You might get a shock! I contacted my local opc for an up to date nav disc and was told £360+vat! I lol'd so much, thought it would be like £20 it is only a poxy updated disc ffs! Sticking with an old one as it works ok

check on ebay as genuine ones occasionally come up, if for example someone has updated to the very latest map dvd, i picked a set up for my cayenne for £25 which where three years newer than what I had, so an update can be done without getting robbed blind at the dealers.

I've seen a few on ebay but I don't really know what I'm looking for, just any dvd for pcm 2 - I'm worried I might end up with something that isn't compatible?

I know people who have used that source for map updates and are very happy with product.
