Zig,
When are you going back on the rollers with a smaller pulley?

Hi Phil..There are some complications..When are you going back on the rollers with a smaller pulley?

1. Im not sure where to get a pulley made.
2. The size of the belt will be different and again not sure where to get one from.
If these two factors can be addressed along with the turbo two speed boost 17" fan fitting then maybe early next month...There is another alternative which is having 2 x 3 port alloy heads made but you are talking loads of money!..The only other way is to revert back to leaded heads and up the CR...But that is going backwards...I think initially the kit produced between 4-6psi but due to the CR being a bit too low im down on power..Around 15-20 horses...Hopefully i will sort it...Cheers...Ziga
Hi Phil...I have done a bit of research and apparently spinning the blower faster than what it was designed for puts more stress on the internal bearings and raises the intake air temperature considerably..Firstly i need to address the under bonnet temperatures as they are way too high...I think the airflow has been interupted due to where the blower and alternator sit now as previously there was a large space either side of the front of the engine..Also the intake pipe is 20mm smaller than it was designed with so that needs sorting also..Power engineering can make the pipe..The size can have a detremental effect on the performance..Cheers...Ziga
