Looking for pc game recommendations please, mainly for me and my 7 year old to play.

I am sick of FPS and driving games, is there anything out there for a PC like jak and dexter/ratchet and clank?

Any 3d platformers like Mario that we can dip into, not something heavy like I presume batman or tomb raider look like.

maybe some of the Lego games?

Would also consider free to play online games, but mainly looking for offline.

Cheers

Go somewhere like Kongregate or Armour Games loads to try on there.

What about god games Age of Empire just redone in HD or any of the Tropico series as a despot ruler.

Try Cube World, it's only in Alpha at the moment, but supposed to be pretty good:

Had a look on Steam at the indie stuff?

Lots of old school lo fi platformers on there.

well I have looked at steam, but they don't list much under 'platformer'

I bought Kerbal in the Steam sale and I just can't get into it. So far I really wouldn't recommend it, but I will keep trying.

If your into history or RTS then try any of the Total War games. Shogun 2 needs a decent spec to run but boy is it pretty. Any of them will keep you busy for months
