Looks and sounds a good car it sounds like it is going to be somewhere around £26,000 to £28,000 to own it as he has already turned down several low £20k offers.

Miles are low for year but perception is they are high.

Not just me then; was going to read whilst dining al desko but it's a hard read. Can't help ut think it would sell better with the "tell me the bits I care in a normal sized font," version!

I didn't take the time to read it all but I hate it when people say a car has Full Service History yet this car has only 14 service stamps which is not a full SH for a 25 year old car !

I'm not saying it is a good car, as with any car, it warrants a thorough inspection to determine current condition and any pending work but least describe it accurately.

Given the seller has taken the time to write a novella about the car, he could at least list the chronological and mileage order for servicing and work done. That would be far more useful than an essay

This definitely looks a good car on the face if it. As we all know these are a rare car, like them or not. There's definitely a market for them and when I was looking for mine they don't come up that often. So good luck to the bidders.

Yes yes, the narrow body is purer, lighter etc but who cares.

Not sure I'd call that a bargain. Think I'd prefer a narrow bodied 3.2 in a more subtle colour

Whatever the opinion on here is, the narrow bodied 3.2c is more desirable, especially in the classic car market.
Sure 25k is a reasonable price and yes the seller would have maybe got more selling normally rather than through FleaBay.
Forget colours as guards/white/black always look good on 80's 911.
For me a nice late 80'S Guards Red 911 with the narrow body is more desirable.

More desirable by who ? A few classic car types who won't pay the necessary wonga for a good one anyway, if the 911 was a poster car when you were a kid then it was a wide body , the supersport prices are enough testament to their desirability

Narrow body for me everyday of the week
If I wanted a wide-body, i'd get a proper one (930 Turbo)

The narrow body car is the original shape. Is quicker and a more nimble pointy drive.
Supersports or SSE's are so ponderous and lethargic by comparison.

Sorry narrow body 3.2 Carrera Coupe is by far a purer variant.

Had a narrow body 3.2 loved it. Always gonna get a Wide body tho. Toyed with the turbo but probably a bit over my budget, so the SSE perfect. I'm not a racing driver so the 0.5 second or whatever it is difference to 60 makes no difference. To say the SSE is ponderous compared to the narrow body is ridiculous.
