Classic & Sports Car is appealing for (fairly urgent!) assistance with a feature for its next issue. Steve Sutcliffe would like to compare a Mk1 Lotus Exige with an early Noble M12 GTO and we're looking for an example of each to use for the photoshoot. Ideally, we'd like to find cars that are as original as possible, at least visually (right wheels, no extra spoilers, correct engine!), and it would be preferable if the Noble were a pre-3R example. We're hoping to do the photoshoot on August 1, 2 or 5 in the South of England (location TBC depending on where the cars are) so ideally we'd need you to be available for much of the day. I have an early 2.5 in silver but it has a few upgrades: black 3R wheels, taller spoiler pylons and vents in rear wheel-arches and the whale tail. Also, I am in the NW so would have problems if the 'south' is much below the M4. I have a set of the original 5 spoke silver wheels, but they have rubbish rubber on so would need to be fitted with something more suitable :-). Finally, I could only do the monday 5th as tied up on the other days.

Just a bit, I think I'm one of the only ones without fancy exterior mods, and it's quite the looker when it's clean.

I've emailed them anyway to see if we can sort anything out - if they can do the Saturday that's great but it's a bit short notice to get a day off.
