Toyo have a statement on their site that the 888 shouldn't be used at sub 9 deg C.
I've looked at the Advan A048R but these are £333 plus VAT! And only come in 265, so may be a problem at the front? Anyone else has 265 on the front?
Also found a Federal FZ-201, at £208 plus VAT but have never heard of anyone using them.

She will mainly be used for track days and summer, but also the occasional nice winter day, so I'm a bit concerned about the 888 temperature sensitivety. Should I be??
I'm aware other tires won't perform as well in cold weather either, but they shouldn't crack?

Any advice would be welcome smile

I'm using federal 595rsr and am really pleased with the, much better IMO than the ad08 , and bloody cheap too!

Only done one trackday on them but performed really well once tyre pressures were sorted.

Interesting thread on the federals. Probably what I'll try next.

I'm using AD08's all the way round on the Sag - 255 19 (long story). The Tam has Yoko Parada 2 on the front, AD08 on the back - there isn't a massive amount of difference on the performance.

Rob, (flyingbanana) uses R1Rs on his sag at the moment and I am running a set on my chim.

Really good in the wet and nearly as good as Triple 8s in the dry.

I have also used Triple 8s all year round for several years and never had a proiblem.

But you can't get the F1 in Sagaris sizes any more.
