Well, with 3 owayo designs posted and several people deciding they like them i thought i'd make a vote.
Now, I propose that whichever gets the most votes is the design which stays, and then afterwards we can start a list on numbers......sound OK. so here are the designs....

Sorry to be a pain, buy I dont think either look as good as the last shirt which was made. Can we not just pursue getting this same design made with the same company? They will have it on file, surely all they have to do is turn the machine on.
I really think somebody from Pistonheads needs to come and take control. We need to know for definite if they will support us in getting another shirt made - if so then let us know when and how. IF they are not willing/able to support it we can then go alone and put a load of designs together based on more PH'ers feedback.

no offence, but i don't really like any of them. i'm no artist or creative so am not going to pretend i could do any better. other options would be good. i really don't mean to be negative by this post so please don't take it personally.
in any event, it feels like we are just pi$$ing in the wind at the moment. there is no communication from PH towers in over a month. it would be nice to have some sort of expectations set.

My designs were really just a bit of fun while we were waiting for news from the powers that be. I never thought that they would be voted on as a credible design option but am flattered that they may be perceived as such. I think that this might be a bit premature as Garlick did say (I think) that they were working on a design and would get back to us.

I reckon 'E38Ross' starting this vote/list is a good call, tactically. It sort of throws the gauntlet down to PH Towers and will hopefully provoke some form of 'official' response to let us know where things are.
To paraphrase a former Prime Minister:
"This morning the Pistonheads Massive, on the World Wide Web, handed Haymarket Publishing a final Note, stating that, unless we hear from them by 11 o'clock (tomorrow?) that Pistonheads management are prepared, at once, to authorise a new cycling jersey for sale, a state of war will exist between us."
"I have to tell you now that I doubt any such undertaking will be received, and that consequently, this forum will soon be at war with Garlick."
"You can imagine what a bitter blow it is to us that all our long struggle to win jerseys has failed. Yet I cannot believe that there is anything more, or anything different, that we could have done, and that would have been more successful."
"Up to the very last it would have been quite possible to have arranged a peaceful and honourable settlement between PistonHeads and this forum, but Garlick would not have it. He had evidently made up his mind to ignore our pleas whatever happened, and although He now says he put forward reasonable proposals which were rejected by Us, that is not a true statement. The proposals were never shown to us, and, although they were announced in an internal Haymarket email on Thursday night, Garlick did not wait to hear comments on them, but continued to ignore our very real need. His action shows convincingly that there is no chance of expecting that this man will ever give us the jerseys we so desperately desire. He can only be stopped by force."
"We are today, in fulfilment of our obligations, going to the aid of our jersey-less comrades, who are so bravely resisting this wicked and unprovoked attack on them. We have a clear conscience. We have done all that any forum could do to establish peace. The situation in which no word given by Garlick could be trusted, and no forum contributor could feel themselves safe has become intolerable. And now that we have resolved to finish it, I know that you will all play your part with calmness and courage."
"At such a moment as this the assurances of support that we have received from the Empire are a source of profound encouragement to us."
"This forum has made plans under which it will be possible to carry on the work of designing our own new jersey, in the days of stress and strain that may be ahead. But these plans need your help. You may be taking your part in the design of a jersey yourself, as a voter in one of the endless polls that will be necessary, or simply by putting your name on 'The List' to buy the finished product. If so you will report for duty in accordance with the instructions you have received. You may be engaged in work essential to the production of the jerseys, so essential to the life of the cyclist - in factories, in transport, in public utility concerns, or in the supply of other necessaries of life. If so, it is of vital importance that you should carry on with your jobs."
"Now may God bless you all. May He defend the right. It is the evil things that we shall be fighting against - corporate indifference, injustice, oppression and persecution - and against them I am certain that the right will prevail."
