Ok guys I'm having thoughts of my fuel lines and clutch lines.

At present

Fuel - tank with intergrated pump into filter via stainless steel braided hose and then into the center tunnel with kunifer piping back to braided piping and then to a jenvey 2 litre zetec, fuel reg and then back to the front. The kunifer is flared and all connections will be jubilee clipped.

Then the clutch line is just stainless steel braided hose from front to the gearbox with proper adapters.

What I am wondering is whether this is enough / correct / safe enough? without spending fortunes.

What pressure is the fuel line? Asking because the braided is most likely overkill unless you were going for 'looks'. Rubber fuel line will suffice as long as you choose the correct grade. The IVA inspector may also want to see the correct marking on the hose.

If you use braided make sure you secure it away from anything else as it will wear through cables and the like.

I dont need to worry about IVA, is an engine upgrade not a newbuild.
I originally brought the stainless steel coated as planned to use it for the full length of the car, then heard that it may be better to use the kunifer pipes in the centre tunnel.
I guess as long as I flare the ends and use appropriate clips guess will be ok, is injection so only be 5psi max I think. Had recently thought about using plastic piping with drybreak connectors but trouble is nothing seems to be all matching, even the fuel pump can only have push on and clipped.

What type of fuel pump are you using. you can get fittings for most types.

I used torques on ebay for my recent new tank/pump fittings
