PCM - 3d view - ODD

Hi,

I recently moved to a Turbo S 2011, but the maps seem different, ie worse than my previous 997.2 2010 model car? I've gone through all of the options, have selected birds eye view, but still seem different, ie no pseudo 3d, just 2d birds eye if that makes sense?

The Porsche dealer is saying there is no difference, but I am positive there is - any ideas on how I can get the 3d mapping view?

I have a 997.2 (2008) and can set my map to 3D View as you described. I read on another topic on here that after upgrading the PCM and maps, the 3D option goes and you get Bird's Eye View. I was considering having mine upgraded since it's coming up for 5 years old, but if it's as bad as you say, I won't bother!
Have you found out any more since your OP?

Hi, I thik this is me being stupid. Between selling the old turbo and picking up the turbo S I was loaned the 991 and a Boxster, with their new PCM etc and I believe my sense of persepctive must have been altered by this. I also zoomed out a little more, and think that's better...
