I had a rebuild by those guys, engine came back with a knackered water pump and a cracked cylinder head.
Hopefully that one will last longer than one track day.

Why do they publish pictures of a "mock up". If it were my business I would keep quiet until I had it installed in a car an running. I hope they get it working as it gives AJP owners another tuning option. Is it one large turbo or is two small ones?. Would have thought 2 small ones would be more driveable on the road.

Don't think they'll fit in a Cerb without body mods so suspect it's going in something else? Loss of air-con as well.

Ahh just enough space where the tub flares out.

Air to liquid intercooler? That'll be a charge cooler then.

Own up whose car is it?

From my point of view it's a brave thing to get involved with

Pretty sure that is a guy called Hamish who owns that, it used to be at Silverstone Performance.

I would take advantage of the flat plane crank by looking into a twin scroll, twin turbo set up.
Will be interesting to see where they route the exhaust past the turbo since exhaust manifolds take most of the room... up through the bonnet? rotate

I would imagine the exhaust will exit near the front of the car, can't see any way to join into the existing rear exiting set up.
Though the way leaks get into the cabin that could be problematic.

I knew the name had a Scotish sound to it, sorry to have called you Hamish.
Looks like any interesting project, can you tell us what has been done inside the engine?

The engine and facebook page looks great. Good luck with it. How much power are you aiming for?. None of my business but I'm going to ask anyway so please don't be offended but what does a project like this likely to cost?.

My supercharged Cerb with me doing all the work cost in excess of 8K. I think if I were paying a specialist then it would easily double!!!! The list just goes on and on. New ECU, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new injectors, mapping, gearbox upgrades etc etc. I would have thought 20K by the time its finished.

One lesson we did learn at my expense was that with standard cams the AJP does not like single throttle bodies and run poorly at part throttle despite the "AJP guru" mapping it.

as mentioned earlier good luck and I look forward to some interesting updates on face book...certainly beats reading another post on "What battery do you recommend..."

Thanks for the comments

The power we are looking for should be about 550- 575 bhp
And the cost will be more than a tenner I think

I know the ICE engine dyno as I mapped an early Wilder SP6 engine on it and it seems to give good believable numbers. ICE built the Wilder Speed6 engines.

That bracket holding the turbo looks very prone to some serious resonance!
