how to value obscure records

Hi,
A few years ago a tenant did a bunk, leaving behind all manner of crap. Among the detritus I found a large collection of very obscure vinyl records, which, at the time, I boxed up and put in my lockup.
I'm currently clearing out said garage and although I can't reach it yet, I can see the box. I remember it was all vinyl stuff like marching songs, dancing (ballroom) music and sing-a-longs and heralded mostly from the 50's,60's and early 70's. There were a few old 78's there as well iirc. I didn't recognise any of the artists, and when I dig the box out I'll update here with some names, but in the meantime, when I eventually dig it out, without all the rigmarole of ebaying it, what is the best option to value?.
It would be nice to get a few ackers out of it, but no drama if I can't.
