Been advised by Dom to go back to standard ARB drop links..............how the heck do you fit them.......they just don't seem to want to go in the mounting holes ???

Jack up both sides of the car and remove both wheels and ideally rest the wishbones on axle stands.

You need to connect both sides and adjust while the load in on the axle iyswim.

Are standard drop links adjustable? If not then you may not be able to achieve the correct set up.

Hi Peter
Sliced through the bolts, and one bracket, had new mounting bracket welded in place, refitted everything with lashings of copper slip......thanks again for support

Axle stands and ratchet straps did the job, thanks chaps

however.........retrofitting the standard drop links hasn't cured the 'clackety' sound...... it is so difficult to diagnose these noises.

I am thinking of a small microphone attached to a laptop then attach to each of the bushes in turn, make the noise happen and see which bush gives biggest amplitude, job done diagnosis 99.9%

ain't got clue how to do it though.
