Chrome doo cardr trim
Discussion
That is just showing off! Chrome trims on the door cards indeed
what will they think of next for a bit of bling!
Sorry, mine doesnt have such embellishments, however I know that the guy who did the trimming for me does know where to get such things so I would ask a local trimmer. Woolies do list some chrome trim but without seeing your door cards I am not sure if they have anything suitable. Try www.woolies-trim.co.uk . They are a very well established and helpful firm.

I suspect your referring to the metal strip that on most cars was painted with a wood effect. Most look rubbish after a while so many owners strip it all off to reveal the nice shiny steel undersurface. Not sure this one has been raised before, and I have no idea where to source originals - perhaps try David Geralds. I can't imagine it would be too difficult to make one up.
Hi there, I did the same to all dials using wire wool again. They do take longer to do compared to the door strips however I loved the end result and was no hassle to do. By the way use a very fine sand paper after the wool to finish them off and be careful with the clock dial as on mine the face was clear plastic rather than glass so could scratch if not careful.

The strips can be easily removed (requires the door card to be removed) as the strips are only held on by 3 small nuts. Removal prevents any risk of damage to the door card itself if left in situ and allows a spray paint finish should you wish to colour code to the pipping say on the seat trim, which is what i did. i also painted the switch plate where the fog light and electrric window switches are located just above the stereo area (S3 of course Terry)

Fits mine
I did have to modify it slightly with an o ring to stop the button vibrating against the handle - but just a push on fix.
Ordered the part however didn't fit only went halfway down and looked bulky anyway so thought Id bling it up myself and pleased with the result. Thinking of doing the same to the roof struts.
