Discussion
My Cerbera project is crawling along (will be updating the thread shortly) whilst I am scraping the chassis - not fun.
Anyway, I will be replacing all oils/fluids and noticed euro car parts have a sale on currently, does this lot sound OK:
Engine oil:
I used to run Mobile 0W50 fully synth but noticed many people now use 10w50 or 10w60. I have found this and looks to be a good compromise for a fair price:

Brake fluid:
I may as well go for DOT5.1. I wil lbe flushing the brakes but the clutch is OK and as I don't know what is in there can 5.1 mix with DOT4 or is missing a big no-no?

Diff:
It is a hydratrack diff so is the 80w/140 the right one like this:

Gearbox:
Is this the right stuff. I think ATF220 was mentioned but I am not sure of Mobil make it anymore:

I am also looking for a fuel filter and oil filter on the euro car parts site but I'm not sure which one is the right one.
Edited to fix broken link.

As for engine oil thickness then this is a good read.
http://www.opieoils.co.uk/pdfs/tech-articles/10w-6...
Personally I run a 5-30 synthetic oil, pressure is one thing but flow much more important, after 30 mins of hammering the old girl round Goodwood on Saturday last it was reading 20PSI at tickover and 45 at full chat, but all is fine with pressures like that as at least you know the oil is thin enough to flow properly and reach all the places you want it to.

Especially when you consider the wonderfully efficient AJP V8 oil cooling system.
Hence why I use a 5W-30 oil and have done for years. The Cerb over cools it's oil in most cases and a thicker oil risks being to thick to get where it needs to be. Mine has not done 50K miles and a lot of those are track miles and the oil pressure has not really changed in te last 4 years and 32K miles in my ownership.a 10W-40 would be as thick as I would go, when the engine first came into production the recommended oil was Mobile 1 which at that time was a 10W-40 I think but with oil technology moving on I seem to get best results from something slightly thinner.

I put Castrol syntrans in my t5 recently. It had ATF in it, and strangely the syntrans does change smoother.
Well I would suggest changing for ATF before you knacker the linings on the synchro cones! The Borg Warner manual is quite specific that you must ONLY use ATF in the T5 World Class.Edited by Tanguero on Friday 26th July 22:38
