Hot air

Why am I getting hot air out the drivers side footwell ?

The heater works but will not only come out both the screen vents and footwell vent.

I thought the drivers side foot vent was just a vent directly to the outside hence gets hot always from the engine not connected to the heater system in anyway. could be wrong though

I have a cool air switch ,it still blasts through when it`s off

You should have the cortina style louvre vents on the transmission tunnel, flap them shut and hey presto! No hot air

You haven't had the cover for the brake master off have you Daz?

If its not on you'll get hot e nine bay air coming past the pedal box.

The Luvres have fell off both sides ,is that what decides if it works ? I thought the wheel on the top dash decides what direction the air goes.

If the louvres are open on mine I get warm/ hot air in the footwell whatever the heater wheels are saying, hot/cold or up/down.
I must have had too much to drink last night as I can't remember posting that, however it was surprisingly legible all things considered

Thanks ,think I will shove a sock in both vents ..
