Yes.
No.
Possibly.

Different people will have a different view of the 'value' of the car and what they'd actually want to pay for it if they wanted it. So, to most BMW enthusiasts out there, it's NOT worth it. To other's, perhaps car collectors, it IS worth it. And to other's, it possibly could be worth it or a near'ish price depending on how badly they would like it!

Cheers, Dennis!

They've had it for ages so I'm guessing market says no it's not worth it, however, what a thing!

As soon as you put miles on watch the value fall

I personally don't think it is priced correctly for the current market as the e46 M3 market is yet to properly take off.

It's definitely worth if for a long term investment if you were a collector who would just park it up and keep it warm etc. low miles and the right colour. shame its not a manual (I love SMG) but the value will be hampered as a collector wanting a 'last of the old school M3' BMW will want a stick shift.

I think the e46 will become very desirable in the next 5-10 years though as they are ace. Plus there are so many rotten dogs ready to meet their maker. Obviously the CSL will continue to appreciate even more so.

No, I would prefer a low mileage E92 M3 or a 1M.
