Ive got the IVA retest on Monday for the Exocet and then the registration process begins.

It seems that previously other Exocet owners havent had to fill in the V267/1 form but when i spoke to the DVLA yesterday the chap on the phone insisted that i need to.

Can anybody shed further light on this? The car was built from a single donor (mx5) and will be on an age related plate.

Yes you do.

I did mine last week at the local office.

You need that along with some money £55 first reg, Tax.

Your receipts, insurance certificate, V627/1 and your IVA certificate.

My local office were helpful and sorted it within a week. They shouldn't need to inspect the car but they may well want to. Mine didn't.

A local offices are closing at the end of the year so they may send your stuff off to Swansea. Mine didn't but they all are shortly.

Thanks for the reply Rdodger. That's certainly cleared everything up.

There's a local office on the route home from the IVA test centre so going to pop in on the way back (if it all goes the way i hope it does!)

There maybe confusion here,
V267 is for a new vehicle/kit car registration, or "kit built" as the DVLA call it.
V627 is a built up inspection form for a "kit conversion" which the DVLA ref as a kit of parts added to an exsisting vehicle as is the case with the Exocet.
DVLA guide sheet INF26 may help.
