PDK paddle neutral with DSG / TCT - shift from D to N to D
Discussion
Question for Anyone Technical on here - if you were 'say' on a track & wanted to disengage drive from both TCT clutches / all gears during braking (as the new Porsche PDK can) what would it do to the gearbox if you push the gear lever into N then once ready to accelerate again flicked it back into D ?
Wear & tear extra-ordinare I suspect ?
Have done this on a VAG DSG during loan and will put the stick into N when stopped at lights but the thought of putting it into N at say 6k rpm then back into drive at 4k seems a bit harsh - appreciate anyone's 'professional' knowledge on the likely stresses of changing in & out of drive at such rpms ...
