Popped into Porsche Reading to find out how much a set of side stripes for the Spyder would be as looking to replace them when the car gets a full valet... now I know they mark things up a tad but didn't realise they were made from unobtainium...

£500!!!!

Not fitted, just the stickers!!

Even by Porsche standards thats ridiculous. Off to my local vinyl place to get some made up me thinks

A salesman at Uncle Dick's in Bristol recently told me they have a man who comes in to do theirs for half that including fitting.

Might be worth a call to them, I am thinking of getting the Cayman R 'PORSCHE' graphic on my Cayman.

Blimey, my RS60 had them on it when I bought it (secondhand of course), I've been debating taking them off because they look a bit naff but may keep them on now as it may effect the retail sale price if I ever sell it!

Good point about the warranty, Just make sure that the after market vinyl is N rated.. Don't want to invalidate your insurance as well...

They're not even decent quality, they start to peel off if you so much as look at them!

Had some stickers on my old Clio that were ten times better.
