We have a garden pond which has half a dozen mixed goldfish in it. One's been a bit quiet the last couple of days and this morning I came out and he's on his side hardly moving other than when spooked, and looking a little bloated compared to the others.

I've fished him out and popped him in a bowl of pond water for now:

Does this look like a swim bladder issue? I keep reading about feeding peas which sounds a little crazy but is simple enough to try.

Any other thoughts/suggestions? Everything else in the pond seems fine and whilst it is very much a garden pond with some fish in it vs. a hobby, the water is filtered regularly using a suitably sized pump and box filter with foams and those things in the bottom that bacteria grow on.

Whilst you fish's stomach doesn't look terribly distended it could be the early stages of Dropsy

It appears that there's not much you can do unfortunately. Have a look around the various fish forums and perhaps you may come across some more info.

I did wonder that but kept reading of a "pine cone" appearance that doesn't seem to be there, though maybe that's "yet".

It's out the pond so I won't feed it and if it's alive in a day or so I'll try peas which seems to be recommended if it is swim bladder - as you say if it's Dropsy it looks like it's gone.
