It hasn't got a clutch. Perhaps they meant a transmission fluid change.
For £8k????
For that price, I'd expect a new transmission. To the OP - are you sure on the pricing? Are you sure that the decimal point isn't in the wrong place? Even if it had one, a new clutch would have been £2-3k (plus a bit more for the Dubai 'privilege').
My torque converter is working fine. But it has a clutch plate + flywheel behind the engine as well. The plate needs to be changed and this is the price they quoted me. I was under the assumption that it didn't have a clutch either. And yea i wish it was a decimal mistake but its not
I was first quoted nearabouts 50000 dhs for the full job, complete clutch assembly + labor. But turns out i only need the clutch plate, which is still too much!
And to make things worse, They wont even let me buy the part alone to fix elsewhere. Aston is the only car company here that doesn't sell parts to outside sources. Everything needs to be bought and fixed by them with their ridiculous labor charges. I have sent an email to astonmartinbits. Their prices are fantastic from what i saw!
