borrow bike box?

[LotusMartin]

Does anyone in the Surrey/Hampshire area have a hard plastic bike box (ideally a bike box Alan) that I can borrow/rent for a couple of weeks from This Friday? I'm off to Houston on business and considering taking the road bike. I don't mind leaving a substantial deposit as I know these aren't cheap.

I did see that but 'man maths' got the better of me and £100 rental is almost like 25% of the cost of one - so I just bought one from Planet X!

Gonna be a tough one to 'hide' from my 'Financial Controller'

A bit late now, but might be useful for anyone considering buying a hard bike case. The offering from Canyon looks pretty decent, and £190 seems a decent price:

Too many people have told me they swear by the Bike Box Alan including my mate who's a pilot - he travels all around the world with his and he can't fault it - buy cheap, buy twice...
