So now I know why I'm not getting any water through....:O

Managed to get some time on the car today and established that its a waste of time filling the washer reservoir cos all it does is pour out on to the drive...!!! Any suggestions fella's?

Can't find anything about location etc in the bible so I suppose this is a rarity?? I'm wondering if its inaccesible whether there's anything like radweld out there i could put in that might fix the leak without gumming up the operation? No idea how numpty that suggestion might or might not be..!!

Anyway, did first roof off drive today

Plus car has now been fully Autoglym'd and managed to make enough space amongst children's junk to fit in garage So now I can go and admire it in the middle of the night.....

Oh yes, I also cleaned the stepper motor...without breaking it!! And the engine still worked afterwards too!!

Good day all round really!

washer reservoir. welcome to the crazy world of working behind the front grille...

you will need to remove the grille to get to the reservoir. Removing the grille is the easy part. Its an arse of a job getting it back on. If you filled it, I assume you know where its positionned anyway?

Thanks Schnozz!

Well yeah, you are of course right that I know where the filler is......but I reckoned that was no guarantee that the bottle was there too.....

Cheers

yep, straight below is the reservoir. One of the jobs from last week was changing my headlight lens that had picked up a stone chip - right behind that is the fluid reservoir. An arse to get too but once the grille is off you'll see it over to the left.
