Morning everyone. Just wondered if anyone has used Aldermore? Thinking of putting a lump sum away in their 12 month bond, currently at 1.85%.

Thanks, Simon.

Thanks for that, I know they're covered by the £85k ruling but it's always nice to know they're not some tin pot outfit, know what I mean?

Cheers, Simon.

My BTL mortgage is with them. They're terrible... can you believe it, they take a huge amount of money from my bank account on the same day every month without fail!

Well they recently offered me secured lending at about 4.4% over LIBOR. So hypothetically it would be good if I gave you 4% pa secured for 5 years wouldn't it. Minimum requirement hypothetically would be £120k, maximum £2m. I would pay your legal fees for setting it up. So in that hypothetical situation you would more than double your money and I would save a few bob too.

I've a client looking for £250k @6% fixed for 5yrs. Funds would be secured on a property at a max of 70%ltv.

Which hyperthetically would triple your money and it would be secure too.
