prop shaft....
Discussion
Hi
When I finished painting my outriggers yesterday evening, I tried to have a go at the propshaft (UJ's are worn)... Couldn't get the damned thing out. the bible says to just undo the bolts and lower it, but a small bar gets in the way of lowering it.
Should I lower the diff to get it out ?
I suppose the propshaft is a specific TVR-part?
Help much appreciated!
Cheers

Hi
Yes you need to drop the diff down however you don't need to remove it completely. You need to remove the two bolts at the front of the diff, drop the front down and then the prop can slide up and over the top far enough for the front end of the propshaft to dsiconnect from the gearbox.
