Has anyone done a piece about dismantling and rebuilding S Doors? The search engine hasn't thrown much up.

This thread has just reminded me of some info I wanted to pass on. When I was adjusting the hinges on my drivers door I found that as soon as I tightened the 2 bolts in the hinge plate it would jump to the original position because the fibreglass around the bobbin in the door frame was partly pulling into the large hole in the hinge plate. To overcome this I put penny washers underneath the hinge plate as well as on top. Adjustment was then easy and stayed where I put it.
