powertech cans

I've standard cans which have been sleeved, a cheaper option which I assume gives a similar exhaust note.
I thought the same. 3/4 sleeved initially but disappontingly little change; changed to full sleeve and got only marginally more noise (though the rear gunner started to be a bit more active).Changed to Powertech- now THAT made a difference in both dB and overrun in particular. Best 200 quid ever spent, no doubt. Then went for the decat (no decat remap, though), very nice.
The corner boxes will have to go next month, to get rid of that tinny note. However, as per earlier posts, I presume such a combo is not to everyone's taste, being way OTT for many on here. Personally, I can't wait.

Interesting, I bought my car de-catted but didn't like the noise, had the cats re-fitted but got the exhausts fully sleeved. The car positively barks now and has a lovely over run but is not too loud in the cab. However a little more noise would always be acceptable and I do like the stainless steel finish...
