It's cool...

But, although it looks great, I think a modern looking boat like this is slightly wasted with that engine.

I'd like to see the Merlin in something more fitting with the era, or something classic looking at least. More like Riva style.

I'd be surprised if any are built.

THe design company seems to be one of those ones with lots of lovely designs and graphic visualisations of their designs - but I cannot find any reports of any of their yachts actually on the water.

Shame - it would be awesomne to hear with the exhaust unrestricted.

How many hours does a Merlin run for before it needs maintainance ? - and how many hours of maintainance does it need per hour of running ?

I don't have the numbers to hand, but I know that at least in early WW2 guise the answers were "not many" and "lots".

Wonderful concept, but hopelessly unrealistic.

The sort of people who buy these sorts I things have more than enough money to pay for the necessary servicing costs I expect.
