Our new Mk1 - keeping the weather out?

Hi, Newbie to this part of P.H. (tho' I have been on to get answers to a few questions in the past, thanks).
We've just bought a 1992 Eunos in reasonable nick and thoroughly enjoyed the fifty mile drive home. Got caught in a torrential downpour and electrical storm and got soaked through before I could stop and put up the roof but never mind... sun came out and dried us out again.
The problem tho' is a water leak into the car from above the driver's window, about half way along. It looks to come from where two sections of rubber window seal come together but no longer seal. I take it replacing the rubber sections would go some way to curing this? Any advice on this or suggestions as to where to get the seals?
I'm not expecting it to be totally watertight, just that we bought this as a more modern and drier alternative to my Spitfire based kit car and whilst it's undoubtedly more modern it isn't much drier
Really need to sort as well as possible as we bought specifically to cover some miles on a winter touring holiday...

I don't think it's the window height on ours as they come up slightly (5 - 10mm) above the top of the quarterlight. I'd imagine that after time the seals develop a "set" to them and no longer push against the window glass enough to keep the rain out. I've got a similar thing on the frameless windows on my Subaru but they are okay most of the time as the roof guttering diverts most of the weather.
The other possibility is that the middle section of the hood needs adjusting so it pulls down lower over the window glass, I've done plenty on old Spitfires/Heralds and the like but wouldn't know where to start on this one - anyone done theirs?

The rubbers are held in place by being pushed into slots in chrome rails that are screwed on to the hood frame - if you pull the rubbers out you can then loosen the screws and move the chrome rails around as the screw-holes in them are quite large, then just push the rubbers back into place - I moved all mine inwards a little bit so that the rubbers are pushed tighter together, and it solved my roof leak.
