Hi Sorry if asked before, I did do a search, but I am trying to find out if there is a good enough dongle out there that will let my son play online with his friends on the xbox? My experience from a few years ago of a dongle was it was a bit patchy and we stuck with Broadband but we have moved out into the sticks and there is no phone line at present and I thought before we went and got one installed we would try out some dongles, we are quite low usage in terms of just daily email and facebook checks, but my son does play games online with his friends and likes watching Youtube videos, am not confident a dongle would be up to this?

We have one of these setup at home as our phone lines are awful, I was using it just last night to play a ps3 online and talk via Skype.

They offer fairly decent speeds and seem to get a signal in even the most remote areas.

Outright speed might be ok - but you will probably have issues with ping/latency.

I will have to Google those last two words hehe but thanks for feedback, and Yeah I think three is the best option for us too.

I guess I could by a one month pay as you go instead of getting stuck in contract if it doesn't work.
