After some of us leaving lights on, and it being that time of year...

Does anyone know where I can get a modification to give an audible signal when leaving the car with the lights on?

Is it easy for any competant electrician to do such a job?

Ta in advance

You could try VWP at Ilkeston they sell relays with buzzers, and are pretty helpful chaps.

I got a lights-on alarm from Maplin - see here for details.
Requires basic soldering knowledge - should take about 20mins soldering + 10 minutes fitting.

I had one of these many moons ago.....bought it from a standard car spares shop.....it was dead simple to fit (I was a spotty yuff at the time and I managed it!) All you did was cliped wires into the headlight circuit and I beleive one into a circuit that went out with the ignition and it detected the ignition was now off but the lights were still on.......

It would have been cheap too (£10 at most) cos I was a lowly student with a mini metro.... :-)
