I feel sure we would have done it on the most Beautiful but lets celebrate those designed by the visually challenged!

Looks to me as if one yacht has crashed into the back of another.

A strange pair of examples. I could throw a rock and hit a (non-super) yacht uglier than those. Off to google.

I forgot about Yas, from the side it looks bearable, the first picture you posted makes it look REALLY bad!

Reminds me of the yacht Disco Volante featured in the James Bond film Thunderball which i saw for the first time in years last night.

Towards the end of the film the front half of the boat split from the back half & became a hydrofoil type thingy. Looks to me as if the designer of this horrible looking boat also watched Thunderball & thought to himself 'Yep. That's what i will design. Something quite ugly based on a film that was made back in 1965!!!!'

& whats with that silvery ball of wire wool monstrosity that has neither a front nor a back? Why? Who the hell pays money for this sort of thing?

I imagine someone at a cocktail party who's got rich some how. They have a few too many drinks and get introduced to some "fantastic young designer", many people say "yah", and "simply amazing darhling" and a few years later said young designer turns up to present the creation. At which point so much money has been spent that the drunk at the party puts up with it.

I saw it in Livorno when I was with a customer there, thankfully he hated it and bought a proper boat!

It´s based in Alcudia, about 4 or 5 berths up from the boat I was working on. We call it the Nikey shoe
You should see the grey fake wooden deck. The crew can´t walk on it once the sun gets on it.
The hoteliers tell the tourists it´s Michael Shumakers boat, so we get plagued with chissits!

From that angle I can sort of get what the designer(s) were trying for - and it's certainly way better than the one immediately above that the Barry Boys have been let loose on.

Excuse me for asking Mickrick, but you don't happen to know a chap who I think has a yard at the end of Alcudia Marina called Will? Think he works there with his Father?
