Anyone know anything more?

No, it hasn't sold. I thought it must have done as I saw it when I was there and then it came up on PH as sold. I asked when I phoned Fernhurst about something else and was told they've simply taken down the ad.

I would think that they were just trying the market with the recent ad to see if it is ready to draw £70k for a Griff.

The ad will probably emerge again sometime in the future. With prices firming they are probably in no hurry to sell.

A seventy grand Griff' is ridiculous. I love 'em don't get me wrong as I've had two, but seventy grand yikes Reckon they were just trying it on to see if someone daft enough to pay for it.

Allegedly they did receive an offer of £55k a while back.

Is it only me that thinks a Griff should be worth at least as much as a Sagaris , given the same condition and mileage( I'm not saying either is worth 70k though!)? I really cant see why they are worth more than a Griff, just the numbers made I guess? Certainly not a better car than a Griff imho.

I am sure that it is also designed to generally help lift the prices of the Griffith and the TVR's in general that they sell. A £30k Griff may not look that expensive if it is sat next to a £70k car.

I heard a rumour that it has had a prang at some point...no idea of extent of damage, or indeed whether the rumour is true at all.
