I like the wheels, they really suit it. The rest of the mods aren't to my taste.

Have you made any engine or suspension changes?

I like it.
But, if you're going to put a CSL boot lid on it, then put a CSL front bumper on it to finish it off.

Apart from that, very nice.

Yeah that was me, I have changed my username since then.

Engine s standard. Don't think it needs anything, fast and loud enough.

I have fitted some eibach springs....lowered 25mm at the front and 10mm at the back. Just a tiny bit lower so that the wheels fill the arches a bit better. They have also improved ride comfort a fair bit.

Only thing I don't like is the colour - but I don't like the colour silver on any car anyway

Strangely yes. Only lowered a smidge and the old springs were ten years old. I think the new ones are more progressive.

Very nice, I really like the wheels & spoiler the colour isn't to my taste but that does look really nice, plus I love what a fantastic low mileage example it is, my sept 2009 M3 has just clicked by 40k miles already!

What's with all the moaning about the colour, at least it isn't 'urine yellow', god I hate that colour, how anyone chose that is beyond me...

I have been admiring a few silver cars recently and this is one of them, very nice!

I see a bit of colour in the interior...any pics? I love a BMW with something other than black or grey leather

I remember seeing the thread when you first bought the car and IMO it looked better before you modified it. Fantastic car though the E46, friend of mine has recently purchased one and it is incredible.

Well they're only bolt-on mods and the car could easily be returned back to standard, so I don't see why anyone has the right to complain. Dislike, maybe, but then that's their opinion. It's not like you're fitting a cherrybomb exhaust and spraying it pink with a rattle can

I've never understood the point of spacers, especially on front wheels.

If you want more offset, just fit wider wheels.

If you can't get wider wheels, then leave it as it is.
