I have had the V12V now for a few months but have just done my first 600 miles in it. Chose to go to Highlands in Scotland for a few days. Epic scenery and great roads but the condition of some of them was dismal! Went on the A8, A82, A682 and the A830 plus a few others. Some of the roads through the mountains were awesome.

To get the bad things about the car out of the way first - the Sat Nav was appalling, in fact it was not even that good and I had to revert to the iPhone a few times to get me out of trouble!! Errr thats the only bad thing!

The V12V's biggest attribute for me was the sound. At all speeds it just sounds brilliant. I had the windows down most of the time as I just could not get enough of the sound at 3 to 4000 revs or when in 2nd gear slowing down in traffic. I also found the car surprisingly not uncomfortable given the distance we travelled in sports seats.

The car also won a load of what looked like appreciative glances and looks. One guy even stood 5 yards in front of the car and took 3 or 4 snaps from the front while we were just sitting there, waved and left!! another very nice lady stopped and told me "that car looks beautiful!"

It isnt as quick as the 911 997 Turbo, it isn't as in your face as the 16M.....but I think it sounds better, looks better and is better!!!!

Stunning machines, aren't they. Never ceases to amaze me just what an insatiable appetite for miles the V12 has. Great pics, too!!

Is this the car mr makov12 posted about and everyone went nuts about?

One of the few colours on the v12 that I've not had the pleasure to detail. I bet it looks stunning in the sun (even better after a good polish)

In that case, drop me an email if you wanted to get the car looking how it should.

Yes it is Francis.
AFAIK, it's the only Royal Amethyst V12V, although I "only" have around 500 cars on my register so far wink
Cheers

Great colour on a great car bow , I am now aspiring to the V12V having heard one the other day. Fantastic garage you have there as well.

Not had my lowly V8V for long but did a similar trip in my second week of ownership and loved it, can only imagine what it would have been like with the extra cylinders and sound.
