Really it depends on what facilities you want, and what sort of Le Mans expeience you want.

The Beermountain site will tell you what to expect at various campsites.

We went for the first time this year with a Motorhome to the Pistonheads/1st tickets campsite and it was everything we could have hoped for, great location, clean toilets and showers, a secure campsite, bar, food if you want it and wi-fi.
