How do they measure it to let you on the circuit?
On the day that I organised, they didn't measure in advance, but were watching the meter and prepared to black flag anyone who was overly loud.(Thanks for taking my advice

Big big thanks to _leg_ for the use of his kit.
Clearly a big petrol head and all round nice guy!
Car topped out at 89db, so well under the 95 limit.
Good stuff. We managed to get a V6 Exige with aftermarket induction & exhaust round on a quiet day and its official noise level is way above that. you should be fine.Clearly a big petrol head and all round nice guy!

Over the last number of years I have gone through the same noise issues, (hopefully not telling you stuff you alr, eady have)I have a t350 with cats and sports exhaust, noise levels are totally dependant on the circiute and the measurement method, drive by or static , and this is also relative to your maximum allowable revs, as on a static measurement it's generally taken as 3/4 maximum rpm , some cars do better on tests than others , tvr due to the frequency seem to do generally on drive by and poor on static .lotus elise especially exige s Lotus do badly on drive by and good on static, my tvr gets through a 98 drive by and records 102 103 static, hope this helps, my noise meter records similar values .
