I like the Trofeo's however if you haven't stiffened your suspension it'll be on the bumpstops

Hi Mike , I have used toyos for the last 3 years and been pretty happy , main issues I had was tyre noise and the rears lasting 2000 miles !! They also go off pretty quickly , only lasting 3 laps of spa .
This year I changed to Michelin pilot cup sports , much quieter and with a harder compound rubber on the inside edge they have lasted much longer . They take a good lap to warm up but once warm the grip is very very good and does not seem to go off . Mileage this year is approaching 5000 and I'm still on the same set !!!

I wasn't as impressed by the yoko as I was with 888's or Michelins.

Never driven on Pirelli

pilots are fine on the road similar to the 048's IMO... not yet used the pilots hard on track so cant comment on them from that side but I loved the 048's and the only reason I am staying with the pilots is they are over 3kg weight saving over the 048's AND cost £300 less!

Do Trofeo R's come in the right sizes yet? I like the look of them the most (which is v important of course!)

Otherwise it's Pilot cups for me.

My P Zero Rossos just won't wear out though!!

Try harder Lawrence! Lol

If your not wearing them out I think you'd be impressed by the grip 888's offer and they'll last long enough if your not heavy on tyres.

If you're not generating enough heat/grip/etc. to wear out rossos, why do you need grippier track tyres?

Agreed Graham.

However, round Bedford the other day i was squealing round most corners (it was a warmish day and i was trying very hard)

On the plus part, had someone measure the depth of tyre treads on all my wheels and they are all wearing incredibly evenly on all 4 corners! Apparently indicates a very well set up car. Credit to Iverson tyres in Chiswick for their alignment - which is the only thing i've ever had done!

They are wearing, but just slowly and very evenly which makes it harder to spot.

And as I never, ever drive in the rain I may as well buy track day tyres next time around!

Yes they do if you put 235's on the front and with the Compomotive wheels I think you need to put 235's on.

I've decided to go with the Trofeo R's.

Ordered them today from Demon Tweeks.
