Why hasn't this 993 turbo (full S spec) not sold ?

This has been on sale for a long rime, why hasn't it sold ?

Maybe because Amari keeps on changing the interior: one day it has Ruffle seats (which clearly wouldn't be the first choice when speccing this car) and the next it has 996 GT3 seats. Same for the steering wheel.

Moreover the engine isn't X50 power upgraded...so it's only a bodylook.

I had one of those, specced from factory as a S and hard back seats, i.e. with the power upgrade, additional oil cooler and twin pipes exhausts, etc. and when I decided to sell it, it did go rather quickly.

Yes i realise its not a genuine S, I'm guessing it would be nearer 100k if it was, it does say in add its not a genuine S but its factory fitted S kit and it's priced at a bit over standard turbo money.
does the fact that it has factory turbo S kit fitted make it not so desirable over a standard turbo ?

i dont think so, like i said my car sold very quickly.

But there are 2 kits: one is bodywork (front and rear spoiler + side vents), and one is engine X50 (extra oil cooler in the front and either 420 or 450 BHP)

The Amari car seems to only have the bodywork kit - nowhere it's mention it has the engine upgrade from factory which was equally rare.

Somebody who inspected my 6T for the guy who bought it inspected the 993.
I think we'll leave at that................

Going from memory but were the options not 430bhp from ECU changes or 450bhp from bigger turbos plus ECU? (with extra oil cooling as you mention)

I think it depends what you want from your car. Personally I prefer cars that are dead genuine examples that are as they were when they left the factory.
And this one looks pretty horrible on the inside. Which also probably explains why it has been for sale for so long....

Oups correct: 430/450

Note: and my car had left the factory as such, fully prepped at the Exclusive department...maybe why when I saw it I snatched it, and why t was again sold super quickly when I released her.

I also think its top dollar, and the colour isn't universally pleasing, and it isn't particularly low mileage. I had a Zenith 993, it was the slowest to sell of all my old 993s.

The interior is enough to put most off at that price. He needs to drop it sub £50k to then allow someone to get the inside sorted.

I had the Car PPI'd actually twice, once before the previous owner bought it and once with the current dealer, we agreed a deal but the dealer then changed there mind and the price, 3 times that was 8 months ago.

Strange place in the time I have been speaking to them i have not seen many cars actually leave there place........

Viewed that car about 7 or 8 years ago when it was £40K in the Cardiff area. Even then the interior was dog rough, it needed quite a bit of paint - lacquer was pealing in places oh and the windscreen was delaminating.

I'm hoping that most of the above has been addressed.

well its now gone up to 75K and somebody has put e deposit on it, CRAZY

Lets see if it actually sells, te last 2 times its been marked as deposit Received, its always slipped back into the for sale section, usually at a different price...

Might help if they put some standard 993 turbo interior trim back in?!
That 996 wheel looks stupid in there!
