Sounds like a nice journey i have just returned wednesday from a 2000 mile round trip from coventry to calais to the black forest baden baden then onto bornio then from the stelvio pass through a little of austria back to stuttgart porsche museum then onto reims then calais and home.Awesome trip my 911 S purred all the way and on occassion enjoyed the autobahns and twisty alpine roads .Enjoy mate well worth it.I could of done with another week 5 nights not enough
I think we will enjoy it for sure and a good weather forecast is helps, thats some road trip you did .Slightly concerned about fuel consumption in the grale i went to Wilton house last weekend and driving like miss Daisy i only just managed to squeeze 200 miles out of a tank full !
But of course i didn't buy it for its mpg, will post pics when we are back.
