Why is it so blooming temperamental?!
I use it to play Music through my Yamaha Av receiver from my Iphone.
It is such a cool good feature when it is up and running and I can play Music from my phone anywhere in the house.
However I sometimes have difficulty getting it to register i.e. the Airplay logo to display on my phone. It sometimes isnt there on my phone then I can back 15mins later and it re appears!
Is there anything I can do to improve reliability or are the issues coming from the reliabilty of my router/Yamaha wirelees bridge.

Are you using an airport express at all? If not, I'd suggest checking the bridge, or router and see if knocking the throughout down a bit may help. I had it in the past, (a few years ago now, so ings may be different), but I always lobbed it onto the highest 'mode'. However, the router can have issues if it is not able to push through at that. Lower the 'standard' to a lower figure helped.
With other routers I've no idea. I struggle enough with the crappy router I have at the moment.
Anything that can interfere meaning it has to 'reconnect' or lose connection?
