I have a concourse car, and was wondering if anyone has detailed the underside of a concourse car. I want to drive the car and inevitably it will get dirty underneath.

Is it possible to hire a ramp?...Is there some form of gentle steam cleaner that I can gently apply to remove any dirt....or other method?

I am not averse to DIY, but also does anyone know of a business that offers this kind of service. Many thanks in advance.

What car are you after doing ????

as they are very different to clean form one to another.

we normally have a car per week in thats requires underneath "detailing".

To detail the underside of a vehicle you will need many different products / chemicals lots of time and to make it easy some way of lifting the car up.

quickly off the top of my head you will need , tar and glue remover, all purpose cleaner , maybe petrol, IPA, jet wash or steam cleaner, degreaser, loads of cloths and long rubber gloves.

some stunning results there. What's the oldest car you've detailed?

Excellent biggrin If you look at my profile you will see I have a bit of a classic. Sometimes when I'm underneath and working on the engine I think it would be nice if it was clean like the concours cars but with 55 years of accumulated grease and oil it's daunting. Is this something you offer as a service or is it just that you do it to your own cars? scratchchin

Its something we do offer a service for , we dont have it on our website as a price menu as it would be impossible to do that "price menu" as each car will be so different.

we do a lot more than detailing,
when and if i get time will update the kds website, still to upload cars from 2-3 years ago , and got plans for the future of adding the restoration gallery page and price lists
