My old brake reservoir had a split down one side, so i bought a new one ,levered the old one out and tried to fit the new one with new rubber seals with rubber grease but what a PITA it will not go in. I am considering relieving the hole in the inner wing slightly to give me a bit more clearance.
anyone had this problem, is there a knack to this, what am i doing wrong. any suggestions!!

Yes tried that, it,s a bit difficult to see if it,s lined up, tried looking though the clutch master cylinder area but still unable to get a clear view, it was a pig to get out clearance was very tight, that is why i was considering relieving the rear of the access slightly.
If they normally go in ok maybe i need to waggle and push harder.
