930 turbo owners

[GT Two]

Anyone in the Surrey area? I would love a passenger ride in a car and would be very grateful if anyone local to me was kind enough for a 30 min meeting/chat.

Im hoping to buy one soon and want to make sure its the car for me.

I think you will be underwhelmed once you have been in one.
I reckon a non standard car with silly BHP would be a hoot but standard IMO nothing special.
The on off performance is quite good when you first experience it but then it just gets tiresome especially on the lanes. Just my opinion having owned one but some owners love them & lets face it they are very iconic cars.

Interesting.

I will have a modified turbo, exhaust etc to try and eliminate the lag. If I can get to 350+ bhp and then keep the rest original.

Hey Ade,
what's the spec of that then? Modified? 4 Speed?

Lee the power is on/off but they are quite an involving drive. When I had a C2 I was dying to get into a 964T. Then when I had the 964T I wanted NA again so I bought the GT3. Human nature, so I think you'll end up selling it on anyway, but you may as well sample one.

Definitely doing the right thing trying to get a test drive. The 90mph 2nd gear is fun in the 4 speed model!

i helped source the lovely example for a good mate a few months ago.. it's condition is just beyond belief, underneath, inside & out.. simply stunning!

standard '86 model four speed 47k miles..

i will ask my mate & current owner to chime in give you more info & pics...
