Anyone here got a spare Ford cold start relay kicking about? it's the green one marked "Kaltstart"

Mine has filled up with water causing it to fall to pieces inside!

Cheers

I haven't got a spare one but did try and chase the Pink relay once and found they are still available from auto electrical specialists but about £25 ! I would call one of the Capri specialists such as 'Caprigear' as they are standard fit on the 2.8i Capri's. You may even find it's the same on the XR3i and XR2i ? They are mounted within the drivers footwell on a Capri instead of being directly in the elements as with the TVR !

I went to Ford yesterday, the chap was very helpful and went through all the relay diagrams to match it, he found the correct one on a Sierra

But it was £35 which I thought was expensive (well actually it's just a case of remembering walking past loads of the damn things over the years in scrapyards and ignoring them as I didn't need it on my S2!)

Wow, that's expensive!

Should you ever need any other relays, Lucas is a good place to go as they'll match up the pins etc with the specs in their catalogue. There is usually one that they do that will fit/work and usually at a reasonable price.
