Quick football shirt question

Me and my friends have had this discussion and they disagree with me. Are the football shirts the same shirts that you can buy in the shops? I've seen a few footballers who wear Adidas tops that have these black crosses across the back of them and I've never seen them on the shirts in the shops?

Some manufacturers sell the 'authentic palyer issue' shirts that have thinner material, vent holes and other meaningless bks for twice the price of a replica.
