I am considering a Defender 90 (previously had a 1985 soft top D90). Wanting something later, between 1990 and 2000.

Issue is I have seen different heights quoted - but I suspect there are minor differences based on tyres, and suspension.

Anyone have any idea if any Defender 90s are 6 foot 6 inch (78inches) or lower? My parking at work is restricted.
Best I seem to find is 80.2 inches, so just 2.2 off.

Cheers

Height will vary with body type. A CSW will be slightly taller (back of the body) than a pickup.

Will also depend on what wheels it's on. If it's riding on some 205's, then it'll be lower than one on 235's.

I had the same dilema; wanted to sell my Series 1 and get a Defender 90 but it wouldnt fit in the garage. After a lot of research, I ended up getting lowered springs (-2") and fitted those. It now fits in the garage and the road holding is vastly improved.
