A quick and dump question. Having fitted. New front arb ne other lovely stuff the steering shell sits at an angle. The tracking is fine. Cam I under the bolts on the steering wheel nod slide the boss off turn it slightly nod slide it back on. If so is it easy or do I need. Special tool. Tia. Jes

Don't undo the 6 bolts that you see on the wheel, lift the horn button up and undo the large central bolt.

Don't undo it all the way until you have 'released' the steering wheel and it may need a puller.

Good luck.

Hmm.. I think I'd be working out why it now sits differently to what it did before!! Fix the problem not work around it.

Thanks. The bolt that holds the steering wheel in place was loose! I could turn it with my fingers -very scary. Whole process took less than a minute. i recommend everyone periodically checks theirs. i am adding a lock nut to mine then i need to sort out the 4 wheel alignment and redo the corner weighting next week.

TBH, if the nut was loose and the boss just lifted off the splined taper, that would suggest it was not installed properly. They are normally a complete bh to part once they get hold...

If the steering wheel was in the correct place, and you haven't had the steering apart but just changed a few bits including the ARB drop links I would be wondering why your wheel is now pointing somewhere different.

Was it misaligned before you started or have they replace the track rod ends while they were in there.
